Step 2: Proposer & Seconder As a private club, every new application must be supported by two existing members (a Proposer and a Seconder) who can vouch for you. There are two ways to do this:
If you know existing members: Great! Simply ask two members to add their names and signatures to your application form before you hand it in.
If you are new to the area: Don't worry if you don't know anyone yet, you can still apply. Instead of hunting for signatures, we will invite you in for a brief, informal chat with two members of our committee.
Please note: This is absolutely not a "job interview" or a formal interrogation. It is just a friendly opportunity for us to say hello, explain how the club runs, and ensure that our community values are a good fit for you. Once we’ve had a chat, those two committee members will happily sign your form as your Proposers.
Step 3: Approval Once your form is complete, the committee will review the application at the next monthly meeting.

For our existing members, thank you for your continued support. Your membership fees go directly into maintaining the facilities, the snooker tables, and the events that make the club special.

How to Pay: Renewals can be paid via cash or card at the bar or via bank transfer.
To ensure Southfleet Village Club remains a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone, we ask all members and guests to observe our club rules.
These guidelines cover everything from signing in guests to the dress code and conduct within the bar and snooker room. By joining the club, you agree to uphold these standards.
